On June 12, inside the R&D center of Xinjiang Yilihong New Biological Materials Technology Co., Ltd. located in the Bingtuan Sub-district of the Horgos Economic Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as the Bingtuan Sub-district), laboratory technicians were conducting flame inoculation experiments. Researchers kept a close eye on the entire process of strain cultivation and fermentation optimization, tackling the improved fermentation process for chlortetracycline, screening the optimal scheme through multiple groups of controlled experiments, tapping the potential for energy conservation and efficiency improvement through technological innovation, and activating the company's new quality productive forces with scientific and technological innovation.
In the early winter season, the Horgos Economic Development Zone Corps Sub-Zone is increasingly chilly, yet inside the production workshop of Xinjiang Yilihong Biological New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., there is a warm and bustling scene. Entering the fermentation workshop, robotic arms precisely grasp golden corn kernels and feed them into the inlet. Through a series of automated processes including processing, fermentation, and extraction, ordinary corn is gradually “transformed” under the control of precision instruments into high-value-added products such as isoleucine, hyaluronic acid, and erythritol.
On August 10, reporters learned from the Horgos Economic Development Zone Corps Sub-Zone (hereinafter referred to as the “Corps Sub-Zone”) that the project “Application of Dual Transformation Synergy Technology in the Biological Fermentation Industry” by Xinjiang Yilihong Biological New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was selected as a “2026 Enterprise Digital and Green Collaborative Transformation Development” case. This is also the only private enterprise in the biomanufacturing sector of the division city to receive this national-level honor.
